Deep Tissue Massage is a generalised and non specific type of massage that aims to treat common knots and muscle tension in the whole body in order to decrease any associated muscle pain and increase general range of motion.

Please note health fund rebates and treatment plans are NOT included in this service. If you require management of long term or complex pain and tension, it is recommended you use our Remedial Massage service instead.

Remedial Massage is a rehabilitative and specific type of massage that aims to treat chronic and acute pain in muscles that are knotted, tense or immobile as well as correct posture and understand lifestyle factors that may be contributing in order to promote healing and function within the body. Problems with the muscles can trigger or radiate pain to other parts of the body, so this type of massage aims to also trace the original reason for the pain, tackling both the cause of the problem and the symptoms.

At the end of each session your therapist will discuss with you and prepare your individual treatment plan that includes specific stretches, exercises and home care to best manage pain and tension long term.

IASTM Scraping Massage 60 Minutes

IASTM (Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation) Massage is a rehabilitative and specialty type of massage which uses scraping and trigger point techniques with massage specific tools that aim to relieve pain in myofascial tissues. These are the thick connective tissues that support muscles, joints, bones and organs. Both oil and dry techniques are used in this treatment to apply pressure and scrape the skin in order to relieve tension, increase blood flow and promote healing.

At the end of each session your therapist will discuss with you and prepare your individual treatment plan that includes specific stretches, exercises and home care to best manage pain and tension long term.

Cupping Massage is a alternative and traditional type of massage that aims to increase blood flow, promote cell repair and reduce inflammation for tight and tense muscles of the back, shoulders, hips and legs. During the treatment, cups are suctioned onto specific acupressure points along the body; additionally, the therapist uses the cups as an extension of their hands, applying gentle pressure and gliding the cups along your muscles. Traditionally, cupping is believed to balance Ying and Yang energies and increase energy (Qi).

We can assist you with many areas including:

When booking support work, individual NDIS plan rates apply, please refer to your service agreement. We charge a minimum rate of $60.00 week days per hour for all other support work.

Kirsty worked on the thousands of knots in my shoulder from predominantly using my right arm for computing at work. I should’ve listened to my partner and kept up my regular sessions with Kirsty because she really had her work cut out for her today but she nailed it, as usual. Now I’ll hopefully be able to consistently have maintenance massages to keep the number of knots to a minimum. As usual, Kirsty’s skills, strength and knowledge were top notch.
